In the Midlands there are many people working together to provide cricketing Opportunities for children and adults with a disability. All Midland counties attend a disability forum on a monthly basis, where ideas and good practice are shared.

In Staffordshire there are many people playing disability cricket. In south Staffs there are disability festivals, and table cricket competitions. In North Staffs, there are strong links with the special schools, through the North Staffs Special School Sports Association.

This year there are 2 main competitions, for junior disability cricket

Kwik Cricket 25 th June 2008

Years 6, 7 & 8

Inter cricket 18 th June 2008

Years 9 &10

Both competitions will be held at Newcastle and Hartshill Cricket Club, and will commence at 10am
