Staffordshire Association of Cricket Groundsman
The Group was formed to support the Cricket Groundsman community within Staffordshire. The main objectives of the Group are:
- Provide opportunities to develop awareness and knowledge for cricket ground maintenance and pitch preparation.
- To facilitate active involvement in training days and access to formal IOG training courses.
- To help and support our association members
- To support Staffordshire Cricket Limited to enhance cricket playing facilities

The Staffordshire Groundsmans Association (STAG) has now been restructured.
It is hoped in future to have significant benefits to members via clubs to bulk buy some goods and hope to generate further benefits by having special discounted rates with manafacturers.
Currently staffordshire have a very competitive discount for mowers with Turfmech who's base is in Hixon near to Stafford.( Further details of this special offer can be attained from Andy Grice andy.grice@ecb.co.uk )
Stag has now a main committe with four regional representatives giving advice in their local area. The committee is set out below along with contact details for the chairman Stuart Williamson.
