Chance to Shine
Delivering funded curricula and extra-curricula sessions, the programme provides fundamentals of cricket and sport, competition, school/club links, personal and social development as well as teacher training and equipment.
We are currently working in partnership with Stoke City and Burton Albion Comunity Trusts to deliver cricket in the north and east Staffordshire schools' network.
We have developed a service menu offering for our schools to identify the range of support we can offer.
If your school is interested in being part of what is now the single biggest school sport initiative in the UK, click here, complete and submit the interest form.
The emphasis of Kwik Cricket should always be on participation and enjoyment.
The local school festivals are played through April and July in the summer term with National Finals for the Girls and Mixed Competitions at the end of July. County Finals for all competitions feature at the end of June or beginning of July.
Teams consist of 8 players and play a pairs version of the game of cricket.
