Volunteers in Staffordshire Cricket are the lifeblood of our clubs. This page is designed to :

Staffordshire Cricket Board are committing to organising a SCB OSCA'S evening towards the end of the 2008 season at which seven volunteers will recieve awards for varying degrees of hard work or projects organised during the previous twelve months and beyond.

The winners of the SCB OSCA'S will then become the SCB nomination to the national awards in October.

Staffordshire Cricket will be announcing details of the OSCA'S nomination process in June 2008.

Staffordshire Cricket are also targeting a showcase club for NAT WEST cricket force in 2009.

All development groups have been asked to provide one club and a project for cricket force 2009 and from there the board will nominate one club as it's showcase club.

The club concerned will work with marketing and funding director Andy Grice to bring their project to fruition on cricket force weekend in 2009.

It is hoped the media of Staffordshire will give their assistance to a pilot project which will hopefully gain help for all cricket clubs across the county.
