2017 SYC Awards

The Staffordshire Young Cricketers (SYC) celebrated a successful 2017 season on Saturday 11th November at a packed County Showground attended by over 450 players, parents, coaches and officials. Guest of honour on the night was captain of County Championship Division 2 Winning Worcestershire County Cricket Club, Joe Leach who represented staffordshire at 3 age groups. 

Over 100 awards were presented across boys' and girls' county teams from under 10s to u17s recognising both team and individual outstanding performances for Staffordshire. 

The evening culminated with the Hugh Leigh Award for Best Festival Performance and the four Fearnley Cricket Awards for the county's most promising young players.
