Safeguarding Officer Courses

Safeguarding Officer Training

If you're a new Club Safeguarding Officer, welcome along and thankyou for taking the first steps in ensuring that our clubs are safe, effective and child friendly places to be. As a county board we support all Safeguarding Officers to ensure that they are fully trained and have access to help and support whenever they may need it.

As a Safeguarding Officer you will need the following in place:-

- An ECB DBS (no other DBS will be accepted)

- An ECB Safe Hands Qualification

- An ECB Safeguarding Level 2 (SGL2) Qualification

The ECB and Staffordshire Cricket are committed to ensuring our staff and volunteers have appropriate safeguarding training.

All ECB safeguarding courses are cricket-focused and child-centred. They are relevant, engaging and designed to help learners act appropriately and with confidence.
