Our County Development Centres are back!

Following the success of last year’s programme, we’re delighted to be bringing our Staffordshire Cricket County Development Centres back for another year, supported by the MCC Foundation.

Offering free, high-quality coaching for boys and girls across Staffordshire, the centres provide an opportunity for players to further develop their skills, enjoy regular coaching and access additional playing opportunities.  

Who are they for?

• Boys aged 11–15 (School Years 7–10)
• Girls aged 12–17 (School Years 8–12)

Our Development Centres sit just below County Age Group cricket and therefore players must be competent club cricketers.  Players must also attend a non-fee-paying school and live in Staffordshire.

What can players expect?

• Indoor coaching from January to April.
• Match play opportunities throughout the summer.
• Opportunities to take part in national competitions and friendly fixtures.

Where?

Stoke Hub – Ormiston Meridian Academy, Meir.

Brewood Hub – St Dominic's Grammar School, Brewood. 

When?

Boys Brewood Hub

• Trials - January 10th & 17th. 
•  U13 - 5pm - 6.30pm / U15 - 6.30pm - 8pm
• Sessions - January 31st / February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th / March 14th, 21st / April 4th, 11th , 18th.   
• U13 9am - 10.30am / U15 10.30am - 12pm

Boys Stoke Hub 

• Trials - January 10th, 17th.
• U13 - 9am - 10.30am / U15 - 10.30am - 12pm
• Sessions - January 31st / February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th / March 7th, 14th, 21st / April 4th, 11th.   
• U13 9am - 10.30am / U15 10.30am - 12pm

Girls Brewood Hub 

• Sessions - January 31st / February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th / March 14th, 21st / April 11th, 18th, 24th.     
• U14/U17 12pm - 1.30pm

Girls Stoke Hub 

• Sessions - January 31st / February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th / March 7th, 14th, 21st / April 4th, 11th.   
• U14/U17 12.30pm - 2pm
