How much does the programme cost?
The recommended retail price of All Stars Cricket is £40. However, there are some centres across England and Wales that may charge an additional membership. Enter your postcode here to check the cost at your nearest centre.
What does each child receive as part of the programme?
The programme cost includes eight weekly All Stars Cricket sessions, each lasting approximately one hour. In addition, every child receives a bonus participant pack; which includes a cricket bat, ball, personalised shirt, cap, water bottle and backpack.
How old does my child have to be to register?
All Stars Cricket is for all girls and boys aged five to eight. However, if your child is four or nine and you feel that they would benefit from learning how to play cricket then please contact us at email@example.com.
Is the programme safe?
Yes, the All Stars Cricket programme is an initiative designed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The ECB requires all of the centres to undergo safeguarding, risk and insurance assessments before they are accredited. Alongside this, all of our All Stars Cricket activators have received training and are fully checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Is the equipment safe?
Yes, All Stars Cricket uses soft balls and plastic bats that allow children to play the game while keeping them safe. Activators have a pack of equipment to support the children when they are learning how to catch, bowl and bat.
How do I register?
Registration is simple and easy – just use the session finder to find multiple centres in your local area. From there you can follow the registration links and pay online.
What can my child and I expect at an All Stars Cricket session?
All Stars Cricket is unlike any other kids' sporting activity in England and Wales. The programme is built on solid foundations of social and physical development for children. Our centres and activators are trained to provide every child with a great first experience in cricket. The eight weeks will be action packed, with fun games and the chance to learn new skills.
How can I get involved as a parent?
All parents are asked during the registration process if they would be interested in helping out during the programme. This is one of the key areas of All Stars Cricket as it is a great chance for you as a parent to play, learn and be active with your child. This will ensure the family continues to play cricket when the All Stars Cricket session has finished for the day.
What happens after the All Stars Cricket programme?
The formal All Stars Cricket programme usually lasts around eight weeks but each centre will operate in various ways and may offer additional weeks or the chance to join their cricket club. There is no obligation to commit to these extras but there may be additional costs if you choose to participate in further programmes.
